Delivery of Large Items
Our online prices for large items (ie. carpets, sofas, armchairs) are inclusive of one delivery attempt. This includes the delivery of items to a level location, accessible by ramp and/or lift. It does not include the delivery of items up or down stairs. Should the use of stairs be required, for instance if the items do not fit in the lift, or the item is to delivered to a location only accessible by stairs, a fee of $20 to $25 per item per floor is required. This will be collected from you by our professional movers, who will also issue a receipt to you for these fees on your request.
Items delivered by courier - For small items (ie. a set of wine glasses) that are delivered by local courier, redelivery in the event that you are not present at the time of delivery is usually free. A card will be left at the delivery address with instructions on how to arrange for redelivery. In exceptional circumstances (ie. repeatedly changing the delivery date or not being present at the time of delivery), we reserve the right to cancel your order and subtract wasted delivery charges from the refund.
Large items / furniture delivered by movers - For large items (ie. an armchair or a sofa) that are delivered by movers, a redelivery fee of S$107 (including GST) is applicable for each item should you not be present at the time of delivery.
Returns & Exchanges
Items delivered by courier - For small items (ie. a set of wine glasses) that are delivered by local courier, we accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery. Please e-mail email@example.com to arrange for your return and/or exchange. Please note that we can only accept returns and/or exchanges of items in their as-delivered condition, including their original packaging, labels, tags, etc.
Large items / furniture delivered by movers - For large items (ie. an armchair or a sofa) that are delivered by movers, acknowledgement of the Delivery Order is conclusive that you have received the item in good order. This means that the only grounds for a return / exchange are inherent, non-observable manufacturing defects as per the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (aka. the "Lemon Law").
Please note that wear and tear as well as cosmetic damages and flaws are not covered by the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (aka. the "Lemon Law"), neither are consumables required for the operation of items such as batteries or light bulbs. In particular, leather and wood are natural products. They require regular maintenance for long wear and to retain appearance. Natural markings such as scars, insect bites or other such markings are part of the character of such natural materials and are not considered defects.
All returns will be processed using the same method of payment made to us. Depending on your credit card processing bank, it may take a few weeks before the funds are credited to you.
We will store items for 90 days. If you are unable to accept delivery before then, storage fees of $107 (including GST) for each item per month or part of a month apply.
